AI DEEP REVIEW

Worth AI Review

7.6/10Consider

Solid local-first novel-writing workflow plugin, but the DSH plugin is a frozen 0.1.0 preview with under 10% of desktop

Code quality7

README states the plugin has its own lockfile and CI, and describes a structured Proposal-inbox architecture, but no test coverage or code structure details are visible.

Security7

README documents local-first storage in project SQLite, explicit cloud-endpoint disclosure, and API keys kept in local config, though the excerpt is truncated before the key-storage section completes.

Utility8

Addresses a real long-form fiction pain point by organizing premise, characters, worldbuilding, blueprints, drafts, review, and revision into a traceable pipeline with Ollama and OpenAI-compatible model support.

Maintenance8

Last updated 2026-08-23 with a detailed v1.1.0 changelog and active desktop releases, but the DSH plugin itself is explicitly frozen at 0.1.0 preview with no near-term feature expansion.

Documentation8

README provides install commands, a Preset activation walkthrough, an explicit warning against the wrong install command, model configuration examples, and a data/privacy table, though it defers some setup steps to a separate plugin guide.
