AI DEEP REVIEW
A focused Brave Search provider for DSH's web seam, well documented and actively maintained, though untested code qualit
README shows no test suite, CI badges, or source structure details, so engineering rigor cannot be verified beyond the clean install/config snippets.
The plugin only requires a BRAVE_API_KEY stored in DSH's credential store or environment, with no download-and-execute or excessive permission patterns visible.
It swaps DSH's built-in web_search onto Brave's Search Web API, a real need for users wanting alternative search backends with clean snippets and page_age dates.
Last updated 2026-08-20, not archived, and published to npm with version/download badges, indicating ongoing activity.
README covers features, install command, credential setup, and manual provider switching with YAML examples, plus English and Chinese versions.
